Alaska's criminal justice information is confidential; the existence or nonexistence of Alaskan
criminal justice information may not be released to or confirmed to any person except as
provided in Alaska Statute 12.62.160. Criminal justice information includes criminal identification
information, defined in Alaska Statute 12.62.900 as "fingerprints, photographs, and other information or descriptions that identify a person as having been the subject of a criminal arrest or prosecution."
